This simple black Cravat is made from a beautiful silk satin fabric and is fully lined in a contrasting gold silk. It has small pleats at the back of the neck, eliminate bulk and to provide comfort. It features wide pointed ends which are trimmed with black ruffled organza. It can be work several ways, being tied, crossed over or held with an ornate tie-pin or brooch. This ruffled jabot is made from soft peach-skin silk fabric. Based on period styles worn around the 1600's - 1700's, I have tried to recreate the jabot with a modern twist, with its many swirls and folds. The ruffles fall gently from the high ruched collar stand which can be adjusted easily to several neck sizes, with Velcro closures at the back. This Jabot can be worn comfortably with most shirts and would look great peeping out from under a jacket. A great accessory for any formal occasion or for those who like to make an entrance.
